I miss you

Today is a nice day,
The sun is shining bright
the birds are singing loud
the sky is baby blue,
in the sky, not a cloud

where are you...
you are not with me

I have errands to run
things to get done
things to see
and places to be

where are you...
you are not with me

I'm supposed to be having fun
going to dinner
going shopping
I'm with him
out to eat
and bar hopping

where are you...
you are not with me

All these things, I have to do
I'm supposed to be out having a nice day
But all I can think is...
where are you, because
you are not here with me.

I miss you.
